May Day : 10 demands of the workers 2014

hundreds of thousands of workers from a union alliance will take to the streets to commemorate International Labor Day or May Day. At least 20 provinces that will be the site of action.



In its action, the workers will deliver ten demands aimed at employers and government. President of the Confederation of Indonesian Trade Unions (KSPI) Said Iqbal said, the ten demands which will be delivered by the workers regarding labor welfare issues and other outsourced employees.

10 demands of the workers 2014 :

1. Raise the minimum wage by 30 percent in 2015 and revised KHL to 84 items;
2. Rejects suspension of the minimum wage;
3. Execute Mandatory Retirement Security for workers in July 2015;
4. Run Health Insurance entire populace by pulling Permenkes 69/2013 on the tariff, as well as replace the INA CBG's with Fee For Service, Health and audit BPJS BPJS;
5. Remove outsourcing, especially outsourcing in SOEs and appointment as permanent workers throughout the outsourced workers;
6. Adopts Draft Revision of domestic and migrant Protection Law No. 39/2004;
7. Unplug Law Society Organizations change with the bill;
8. Raise employee and part time teachers as civil servants, as well as a subsidy of Rp 1 million per person / per month from the state budget for part time teachers;
9. Provide public transportation and affordable housing for workers;
10. Execute 12-year compulsory education and scholarships for workers' kids to college.
