Susi Susanti born in Tasikmalaya, West Java, February 11,
1971. Daughter's best badminton player ever owned by Indonesia was already like
a game of badminton since elementary school. Support parents make it steady to
be a badminton athlete. He also began a career in badminton club owned by his
uncle, PB Shoots Tasikmalaya. After practicing for 7 years there and won the
junior badminton championships, in 1985 he moved to Jakarta. At that time he

In Jakarta, Susie lived in a dorm and attend a special
school for athletes. Limited interaction with fellow athlete, the athlete was

winning the All England four times (1990, 1991, 1993, 1994) and became World
Champion in 1993.

he became the champion of the women's singles badminton at the Barcelona
Olympics, 1992. Susi became Indonesia's first gold medalist at the Olympics.
Interestingly, Alan Budikusuma who is his girlfriend at the time, also became

the women's badminton at the Barcelona Olympics. Foreign media dubbed them as

Susi again managed to win a medal, this time a bronze medal
